More about Amelia

A woman with long, wavy hair sitting on a yoga mat in a cross-legged position, practicing yoga or meditation indoors with a yellow wall and a green plant in the background.

Amelia is a 500-hr+ certified yoga instructor, a certified Prenatal Yoga instructor with a background in Yoga Therapy techniques and Yoga Art therapy. She has been practicing yoga for over 15 years and teaching for the last 11. Her yoga classes focus on a gentle homecoming back to your body and mind, with the use of pranayama, asana, and yogic philosophy. She encourages her students to reconnect with their own inner knowing.

Amelia has taught an array of classes, from Prenatal yoga, Hatha yoga, restorative yoga, yoga for neurological reset and Yoga Nidra. Amelia’s journey into yoga deepened after having her first child go through many medical difficulties and procedures. Anxiety became a huge new concept that she would have to deal with for the rest of her life. Yoga provided the tools she needed to reclaim her courage, not only for herself, but for her daughter as well. She was able to breathe again, to feel and be with what was in a more stable and compassionate sense.

Amelia now feels a deep connection with yoga and its teachings, and aspires to keep learning and sharing this transformative information with others, with vitality, courage and compassion.
